About the Brand

Although an obscure name to most, watch enthusiasts know Favre-Leuba well as the second oldest watch brand in Switzerland established in 1737 that often set the pace for technological advances in the watch-making industry. While placing their stake in the ground as a manufacturer of premier chronometer-grade timepieces and dive watches, they simultaneously established for themselves a unique creative voice and design sensibility that was carried across their other models and styles. There’s myriad examples of exceptional mid-century design work that came out of the brand and this time-only tank-style piece is certainly one of them.

Condition: This watch is in overall excellent condition. The case shows little to no signs of wear with no blemishing, patina, scratches, or damage of any kind. Additionally, there are no signs of this piece ever having been polished. The dial and hands are well preserved. The bracelet has fantastic integrity, is in brilliant condition, and intact, clean connections to the case. The movement is accurate and maintains great time-keeping ability throughout the day.
