About the Brand

Juvenia was founded in 1860 by Jacques Didisheim-Goldschmidt in Saint-Imier, Switzerland before eventually relocating to La Chaux-de-Fonds. The brand is notable for being an early innovator in the invention of extra-flat / ultra-thin movements as well as extra-small movements. The company is also known for being one of the first to manufacture women’s watches. Juvenia has been historically exploratory in form and the decorative arts as they applied to watches which would eventually earn them the Grand Prix des Arts Decoratifs de Paris in 1925. This avant-garde approach to design would carry them through to the modern era where they still exercise their audacious, creative spirit.
