Why We Love It

The Omega Constellation reference 168.0065 stands out as a truly unique and rare vintage model among the Constellation collection. Produced exclusively for Japan in 1974, this reference offers distinct features that set it apart from other iterations. Notably, it showcases a pie-pan dial design with a slightly flatter profile compared to earlier versions creating a distinctive aesthetic. The presence of the onyx-inlaid dauphine hands and the specific placements of the raised steel Omega logo and symbol on the dial further contribute to its individuality.

Additionally, the use of a round crown, rather than the more common 10-sided version, adds an uncommon touch to this exceptional timepiece. The timepiece featured here also boasts an even more atypical Milanese bracelet amplifying its rarity further. With limited availability and a captivating design, the Omega Constellation reference 168.0065 represents a truly unique find for collectors and enthusiasts seeking a standout addition to their collection. Being that this was also the last issuance of variation that included a Pie-Pan dial, this is endearingly deemed ‘The Final Pie-Pan’.
